Dear long-distance Bestie

Cheers to my constant companion, Since 5-long years, my one and only, Dear long-distance Bestie. We have been one another's amigos, At the middle of the night, In the form of pillows. When you were awfully scared, Or the times, When I felt utterly despaired. Countless times you've cried, Wishing wholeheartedly, If only I were there to confide. I cried along but never confessed, As promised to, Stood stiff when you get depressed. Distance would forfeit over our bond one day, Until then, always remember, I'm not too far, but just "one state away". P.S - Happy birthday, I miss you!

Destiny destroys Dreams

You dream to be something vigorously, That is not written in your destiny. Alas, at that point, Destiny destroys Dreams. Whoa! Who knew this? "Just keep going", they said, You will achieve your goal one day. On the other side, People would pressurize, Try their level best to satirize. So, follow "Let The Dogs Bark" proverb, And, never let "Log Kya Kahenge" disturb. Coz to them, when you'll try to be Galileo, Is exactly like reading a book to a buffalo. You did try changing, Your fate to the extreme, Until it was meant to remain a dream. Yet, don't give up, Focus on your redeems, When your inner voice only wishes to scream. With a sight of all doors closed, Just remember to never lose hope.

Farewell to half-days

It all began from primary, 3:00pm to 6:00pm were the timings, I remember. Those were the only days when I headed to school regularly, Rest of the year passed battling with the struggle to skip or surrender. Followed by the secondary, early morning irked each time, But this word "half-day" never failed to bring a jubilant smile. Fortunately, this system continues in degree as well, I cannot thank much but just be dwell. Being in the last year, I hereby give my farewell to half-days, Alas, I hope to hear this word often on my whatsoever work place.

Girl who've never been to pubs

She belonged from an orthodox background, People suspected, she was too clumsy to be around. Renowned as a couch potato, Ain't they noticed, she had few rules to follow. Having people who celebrate their birthday's at nightclubs, Lately, she realized, she is a mere girl who've never been to pubs. Although she felt excluded at times, Each word, poured out her emotions into rhymes. Dreamt to dance on beats like nobody watching, Little did she knew, liquor was the module for all performing. Aware of the fact that she had an handful of amigo, She once wholly desired, for an eternal bailando. One time experience is all what she ever wished, Small dreams in a big town, she finally accomplished.

90s kid in the 20s

I remember those days, Of phantom sweet cigarettes. When I found a 16-year-old, Smoking hand-rolled Gold Flakes. I retrieve the times, Of watching Tom and Jerry. When I noticed a 6-year-old, Stuck in the mayhem of WWE. I recall those days, Of strategizing to win games. When I discovered a 5th grader, Experiencing dilemmas of blames. I recollect the times, Of playing hopscotch, plus, lock and key. When I observed my nephew, Skipping meals for his PS-3. So, as long being a 90s kid in the 20s, I can witness the generation gap. This fast-flying period of time, Got me into chaos with past recaps.
