Fare-thee-well

I love you and I'll miss you, I don't say it enough, but I do. We've had each other's back for years, And now it's gonna be, with a distance. I feel at ease for you to live your dreams, But as I watch you leave, my heart emphatically screams. Gonna miss those bike rides and eating rolls, Also, those times at shaanti spot, talking about our ultimate life goals. Gonna miss you the most on my birthday, Girl, I still can't believe you flying to Ireland from Bombay. Don't forget, you're a Rebel, Dear Best friend, fare-thee-well.

Tangy

Bhai brought you home when you were merely 3-months old, Struggling to life and death all on your own. You made me a cat person that i never was, Then stole my heart with that cute tiny head & adorable little paws. My eyes are red, swollen and filled with tears, Begging God to have one last glimpse of yours. Never got tired of you sleeping on my lap for hours, While my parents sing you to sleep, you were no less than a human to us. Eating with your front paws or watching tom and jerry while sitting on my lap, You were just too young to get all wrapped. Left us shattered in exact 6 months, Your unexpected demise has shaken our world. Never thought i would write this so soon, Never knew you would've sucha short fortune. Ain't left with words so here i cease, I wholeheartedly pray your soul rests in peace. P.S - you will be missed, i love you!

Navratri without Garba

Here's a blog uproar, After almost a year or maybe more. My heart cries, While my words turn into rhymes. This year has thieved countless lives, Along with the festivals that once made us feel alive. It's navratri without Garba tonight, Holding back onto the melodies as my soul frantically ignites. I pray, this outbreak evanescents soon, And, heal people as well as their fortunes.

M.N.W.C

The place to which I acknowledge, Maniben Nanavati Women's College. The place that made me see the amateur writer in me, When I was awarded for reciting poetry at the Lucknow University. The place where I went in depth with wizards & witchcrafts of J.K Rowling, Also, where my first article got featured for the first time in college magazine. The place from performing my very first mime on "The Old Man and The Sea" by Earnest Hemingway, To the play of "Swami and Friends" by R.K Laxman which I seldom replay. The place where I sheer my majors in English literature, Realizing, "William Shakespeare" was the ultimate god of our academic year. The place of "the turning point" in my life, From a personality of highly introvert to an extrovert and all the "first times". Boggled by the fact, that I had my farewell on this date, a year ago, Today, for all beginnings and the endings with a bunch of nostalgia, I feel outgrown.

Never too old for animated movies

Spectacular animation with blitheful songs, Each film has a powerful message that comes along. From a tale of friendship between two unlikely pen pals, "Mary & Max". To a constant conflict between Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness in "Inside Out". From Elsa concealing the icy powers, then liberating herself from fears in "Frozen". To a girl whose mission was to return the heart of the island goddess - Te Fiti in "Moana". From a family of undercover superheroes trying to save the world, "The Incredibles". To a little girl travelling to an extraordinary world where anything is possible in "The Little Prince". From a city of anthropomorphic animals working together to uncover a conspiracy in "Zootopia". To a seraphic apatosaurus making a human friend in "The Good Dinosaur". From a briefcase-carrying baby dastarding the CEO of Puppy Co, "Boss Baby". To an orphan girl dreaming ...

Dear long-distance Bestie

Cheers to my constant companion, Since 5-long years, my one and only, Dear long-distance Bestie. We have been one another's amigos, At the middle of the night, In the form of pillows. When you were awfully scared, Or the times, When I felt utterly despaired. Countless times you've cried, Wishing wholeheartedly, If only I were there to confide. I cried along but never confessed, As promised to, Stood stiff when you get depressed. Distance would forfeit over our bond one day, Until then, always remember, I'm not too far, but just "one state away". P.S - Happy birthday, I miss you!

Destiny destroys Dreams

You dream to be something vigorously, That is not written in your destiny. Alas, at that point, Destiny destroys Dreams. Whoa! Who knew this? "Just keep going", they said, You will achieve your goal one day. On the other side, People would pressurize, Try their level best to satirize. So, follow "Let The Dogs Bark" proverb, And, never let "Log Kya Kahenge" disturb. Coz to them, when you'll try to be Galileo, Is exactly like reading a book to a buffalo. You did try changing, Your fate to the extreme, Until it was meant to remain a dream. Yet, don't give up, Focus on your redeems, When your inner voice only wishes to scream. With a sight of all doors closed, Just remember to never lose hope.
